TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transport to the Gran Vía district.
Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at the airport, we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will be ready to welcome you and will provide the necessary information. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de Es­paña and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.

DAY 02 : Breakfast / – / –
MADRID
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park.
Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring. Night transfer The day starts about 08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Gran Via, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International) in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.

MADRID > GRANADA
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: entrance and local guide in the Alhambra. Evening transfer.
Leaving Madrid by bus in the early morning (if the group of English-speaking travellers is small, sometimes they will share the trip to Granada with Spanish-speaking passengers). We travel to the south across La Mancha, stopping in PUERTO LÁPICE, a ‘manchego’ village evoking the figure of Don Quixote. We will enter Andalusia via Despeñaperros. GRANADA, arrival. In the afternoon we will visit the immense Alhambra Palace, with entrance and local guide included, and its beautiful Generalife gardens, built in Arab times. Later, enjoy an evening transfer to Granada’s city centre, where restaurants mix with local cultural flavour to create an unforgettable night. Choose between Spanish, international, Chinese, Latin cuisines, etc. Tonight you have the option to attend a flamenco dance show and the traditional neighbourhood of Sac­ramonte.

Note: in the Alhambra complex, the Nazari palaces allow a limited number of people in at a time. In the highly improbable case of not being able to visit this area of the Alhambra, a visit to the Alcázares will be included in Seville (which have similar architecture and features).

GRANADA > MALAGA > MARBELLA > RONDA > SEVILLE
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: we will see the beautiful Andalusian village of Ronda.
We leave Granada and travel towards the Costa del Sol. MALAGA, arrival and time for a stroll in the historic centre with its cathedral and the Picasso Museum. After this we will continue along the coastal motorway with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. PUERTO BANUS, in Marbella, a pretty high level recreational port. Time for lunch. In the afternoon we will continue through the hills and their stories of bandoliers until we come to RONDA, a very beautiful white town with its large gorge that divides it in two. Continuation to SEVILLE. Arrival at the end of the afternoon..

DAY 05 : Breakfast / – / –
SEVILLE
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided visit with local expert in Seville. Night transfer to the historic city centre.
After breakfast, a local expert guides you through a scenic visit of Seville featuring the Cathedral and its famous Giralda, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, popu­lar neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana and the beautiful Plaza de España. (Note: If the group has fewer than fifteen travellers, it can be arranged in both Spanish and English). Enjoy leisure time straight afterwards. At the end of the afternoon, we will go to the historic city centre area (Calle Alfonso XII) where many different restaurants can be found. You can choose your favourite cuisine: Indian, Halal, Chinese, Spanish, International, and soon.

SEVILLE > RABIDA MONASTERY > MERTOLA > EVORA > LISBON
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Entrance in the Carabelas Museum were Christopher Columbus started his voyage to America. Chapel of the bones in Evora.

We leave Seville and in the province of Huelva, we travel to PALOS DE LA FRONTERA. We include entrance to the Carabelas Museum; this is where Columbus set sail on 3 August 1492 for America. We will see the Rabida Monastery, declared a World Heritage site, a Franciscan monastery strongly linked to the history of the discovery (entrance included). After this we will travel to Portugal. MERTOLA, a stop in this ancient Muslim city, its present church was a mosque, and time for lunch. After this, through white villages we come to EVORA city declared a World Heritage site with its wide streets, its Renaissance policies and its cathedral, we will include the entrance to the impressive Chapel of Bones, built with 5000 skeletons! LISBON, arrival at the end of the day.

LISBON
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Lisbon. We taste the “pastel de Belem” (Belem cake). Evening transfer.

In the morning we have a sightseeing tour with a local guide (note: Ex­planations may be given by our guide if the group has fewer than twelve people). We visit tra­ditional neighbourhoods, which take in the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We shall look round the Monument to the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and enter to the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the Belem neighbourhood, we invite all our travellers to try a “Belem cake”, an exquisite local delicacy. The afternoon is free so that you can explore this great city independently. We include night transportation to Restauradores Square, full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes from where we suggest you to take the “Elevador da Gloria” that brings you to the Upper district and its viewpoint.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat trip across Zurich lake. Journey by train.
With our guide, we will stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country. The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. After this we will board a boat for a trip lasting almost two hours on Zurich Lake. The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. We return to Zurich by train and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic centre, next to the lake, where you can dine at your favourite restaurant (Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, Swiss, etc.).

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grindenwald first. Lunch included.
Today´s stage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breath-taking scenery in the region of Interlaken. GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald first. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we shall be able to take the “footbridge over the empty” among the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). After that we continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Time at the end of the day to stroll, enjoy the city and dine before returning to the hotel in Zurich.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: We will know the town of William Tell. Pictoresque Village as Morcote Shores of Como.
We travel to BURGLEN, the tiny village where William Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life. Afterwards, we reach the enchanting little town of MORCOTE, with its houses made of stone, and covered with flowers. We enter Italy and stop in COMO, on the shores of its lake. The city highlights the Gothic Cathedral. Arrival in MILAN where our guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. There will be time to dine at the Porta Venice (Port of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants can be found to delight your palate. From restaurants serving Swiss and Italian food, to French, Chinese and international food. Transfer to hotel.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Centre of Milano. Leaning Tower of Pisa.
We continue towards PISA. On a little tourist train we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we continue to ROME, arriving at the end of the afternoon.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum (admission price included) and visit to the Vatican City.

In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We visit the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And we have also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening we provide transport to the Via Cavour area, were you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and interna­tional food. Return to hotel.

We depart for Hungary. Arrival in BUDAPEST, at lunchtime. Discover the “Queen of the Danube” on a scenic tour of highlight. This city is divided by the Danube, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopoli­tan “Pest” on the opposite bank. TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Explore Bern, the capital city of Switzerland.
Embark on a scenic trip to BERN, capital city of the confederation built around a bend in the Aare River, with its medieval architecture preserved in the Old Town. Time to take a stroll and breathe in the fresh air. Next, we journey to France. Enjoy beautiful lake views on our trip to Paris. We arrive in the evening. Tour ends (or journey continues depending on rotating schedule of departures). Recommendation: If you start or end your trip in Paris, we advise you to book an extra day or two in this city. In this way, you will be able to get to see Euro Disney, Versailles and other places of interest.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour in Paris. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Boat ride along the Seine. Evening transfer.
A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. We end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday). At sunset transfer to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre were you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to hotel.

Welcome to Madrid! Upon arrival at the airport, we shall be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Our guide will be ready to welcome you and will provide the necessary information. Towards the end of the day, we provide transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de Es­paña and Gran Via; a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Madrid city tour. Stroll through the Retiro Park.
Visit to the Plaza de Toros de las Ventas bullring. Night transfer The day starts about 08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Gran Via, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Visit to Retiro Park, an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to Las Ventas Bullring included. This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon. At sunset we provide a transfer to Plaza de Oriente, opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International) in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.

MADRID > GRANADA
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: entrance and local guide in the Alhambra. Evening transfer.
Leaving Madrid by bus in the early morning (if the group of English-speaking travellers is small, sometimes they will share the trip to Granada with Spanish-speaking passengers). We travel to the south across La Mancha, stopping in PUERTO LÁPICE, a ‘manchego’ village evoking the figure of Don Quixote. We will enter Andalusia via Despeñaperros. GRANADA, arrival. In the afternoon we will visit the immense Alhambra Palace, with entrance and local guide included, and its beautiful Generalife gardens, built in Arab times. Later, enjoy an evening transfer to Granada’s city centre, where restaurants mix with local cultural flavour to create an unforgettable night. Choose between Spanish, international, Chinese, Latin cuisines, etc. Tonight you have the option to attend a flamenco dance show and the traditional neighbourhood of Sac­ramonte.

Note: in the Alhambra complex, the Nazari palaces allow a limited number of people in at a time. In the highly improbable case of not being able to visit this area of the Alhambra, a visit to the Alcázares will be included in Seville (which have similar architecture and features).

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: we will see the beautiful Andalusian village of Ronda.
We leave Granada and travel towards the Costa del Sol. MALAGA, arrival and time for a stroll in the historic centre with its cathedral and the Picasso Museum. After this we will continue along the coastal motorway with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. PUERTO BANUS, in Marbella, a pretty high level recreational port. Time for lunch. In the afternoon we will continue through the hills and their stories of bandoliers until we come to RONDA, a very beautiful white town with its large gorge that divides it in two. Continuation to SEVILLE. Arrival at the end of the afternoon..

SEVILLE
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Guided visit with local expert in Seville. Night transfer to the historic city centre.
After breakfast, a local expert guides you through a scenic visit of Seville featuring the Cathedral and its famous Giralda, the banks of the Guadalquivir River, popu­lar neighbourhoods of Santa Cruz and Triana and the beautiful Plaza de España. (Note: If the group has fewer than fifteen travellers, it can be arranged in both Spanish and English). Enjoy leisure time straight afterwards. At the end of the afternoon, we will go to the historic city centre area (Calle Alfonso XII) where many different restaurants can be found. You can choose your favourite cuisine: Indian, Halal, Chinese, Spanish, International, and soon.

SEVILLE > RABIDA MONASTERY > MERTOLA > EVORA > LISBON
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Entrance in the Carabelas Museum were Christopher Columbus started his voyage to America. Chapel of the bones in Evora.

We leave Seville and in the province of Huelva, we travel to PALOS DE LA FRONTERA. We include entrance to the Carabelas Museum; this is where Columbus set sail on 3 August 1492 for America. We will see the Rabida Monastery, declared a World Heritage site, a Franciscan monastery strongly linked to the history of the discovery (entrance included). After this we will travel to Portugal. MERTOLA, a stop in this ancient Muslim city, its present church was a mosque, and time for lunch. After this, through white villages we come to EVORA city declared a World Heritage site with its wide streets, its Renaissance policies and its cathedral, we will include the entrance to the impressive Chapel of Bones, built with 5000 skeletons! LISBON, arrival at the end of the day.

LISBON
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Lisbon. We taste the “pastel de Belem” (Belem cake). Evening transfer.

In the morning we have a sightseeing tour with a local guide (note: Ex­planations may be given by our guide if the group has fewer than twelve people). We visit tra­ditional neighbourhoods, which take in the Belem district, which is the birthplace of the great Portuguese navigators who sailed the oceans in the Fifteenth Century. We shall look round the Monument to the Discoveries, Belem Tower, and enter to the beautiful Jeronimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the Belem neighbourhood, we invite all our travellers to try a “Belem cake”, an exquisite local delicacy. The afternoon is free so that you can explore this great city independently. We include night transportation to Restauradores Square, full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes from where we suggest you to take the “Elevador da Gloria” that brings you to the Upper district and its viewpoint.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Fatima Shrine. We travel to the north of Portugal and visit FATIMA, an important sanctuary. We will continue on our way through the green lands of the centre, passing into Spain, and over grasslands we cross the North of Extremadura. Lunch included en route in a regional food restaurant. Continuation to MADRID. Arrival at the end of the day. End of our services.

After breakfast, at around 12.00h, we start with a scenic visit around Vienna with a local expert. Here, we experience its majestic avenues, its palaces and the vibrant city centre. Directly afterwards, we head the Schönbrunn Palace where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. In the evening we go to the City Hall Square to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighbouring streets, where you can dine at your preferred restaurant with cuisines from around the world including Austrian, Chinese, Indian and Italian.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour with our local expert in Budapest.
We depart for Hungary. Arrival in BUDAPEST, at lunchtime. Discover the “Queen of the Danube” on a scenic tour of highlight. This city is divided by the Danube, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopoli­tan “Pest” on the opposite bank. There will be time at the end of the day in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of little restaurants with food from different countries (Indian, Chinese, Hungarian and Italian).

We will leave Budapest for BRATISLAVA, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic centre. Time to see the city and have lunch. After lunch we will continue on our way to the Czech Republic. PRAGUE – At the end of the afternoon, we provide transport to take you to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and touristic activities. It’s a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

Today we are visiting this capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a magnificent boat tour along Moldava River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, we will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world (including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian). TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Bavarian Landscapes.

We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see LAUF AN DER PEGNITZ, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. Our journey continues towards FRANKFURT. Explore the historic centre and choose your favourite restaurant to dine in (from Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, and so on).

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Basílica del Pilar. Visit to a mediaeval monastery. Ride on a rack train.
We depart early in the morning from Madrid. Heading towards Aragón, we pause our journey in ZARAGOZA. Our guide will join the group to Basílica del Pi­lar. Directly afterwards the group will have free time to visit this impressive sanctuary and enjoy the city centre. Later, we make our way to Cataluña to the Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the best preserved mediaeval monasteries in the world (entrance and guided tour included). We then go on to the Monastery of Montserrat where we include a ride on the rack train for the fantastic views this gives. Continuation to BARCELONA, arrival in the late afternoon.

Note: In the winter months, from November to March (included), due to the shorter days, the Monastery of Poblet will not be visited (so that we can reach Montserrat in the daylight).

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Barcelona city tour. “Spanish Village” visit and evening transfer to Las Ramblas district.
Today we will get to know Barcelona, an impressive city right on the Medi­terranean Sea. Our visit includes an informative city tour with a local expert (note: If the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide.) We also visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neigh­bourhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place. It will be possible to see and photograph La Sagrada Fa­milia basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí Subsequently, we include the entry ticket to “Poble Espanyol” (meaning “Spanish Village”). This open air architectural museum is situated in one of the most emblematic areas of Barcelona. Be delighted by the best Spanish craftsmanship and discover the architectural styles, traditions and folklore of the different communities in Spain. Free time to explore the city on your own. In the evening we provide transfer to Las Ramblas and Plaza Cata­lunya area, where you can select from a great variety of restaurants (including Indian, Chinese, Halal, International and regional Spanish cuisine). TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit Peñiscola, a beautiful walled town combined with a castle on the sea. Discover Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences. Evening transfers.
We travel south along the Mediterranean. A special stop is made at Peñiscola, a small walled town on the shores of the sea. After a short introduction given by our guide, you can make your way through the town, discovering the fishing port, the castle and the beach. Time for a walk and lunch. Afterwards we travel to Valencia, the third largest Spanish city, where we will see the City of Arts and Sciences, the most important modern tourist site in the city of Valencia. Next, we walk through the historic centre of the city, and our guide will accompany us to the Cathedral. Evening transfer to the Plaza de Toros. In this area you will have time to dine in line with your preferences (Spanish, Indian, international, etc.). Return to hotel.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Tourist train in Caravaca.
We continue through the community of Valencia. ALICANTE. Time to stroll in this active and very pleasant city by the sea. After lunch we go on our way to the Murcia region, where we will see CARAVACA DE LA CRUZ, A town considered by the Catholic Church as one of the 5 holy cities, its church holds a relic of Christ’s Cross. We include a ride up to the historic area on the tourist train. After this we will carry on along an attractive scenic road to ANDALUSIA. Arrival at the end of the day in GRANADA.

DAY 01 :
ZAGREB ARRIVAL
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Zagreb sightseeing tour. Supper included.
Arrival in ZAGREB. Transfer to the hotel. Our guide will arrive with the group from Slovenia around lunch time. There will be a sightseeing tour with a local guide. We will have a chance to admire its two hills, the upper town and the new neighbourhoods of Croatia’s capital city. Supper included.

ZAGREB > MAGLAJ > SARAJEVO
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Sightseeing tour of Sarajevo. Tunnel of life. Supper included
We leave first thing in the morning to travel to Bosnia. Border procedures (which may be long) and entry in Bosnia. The border areas still show sad memories of the conflict in the nineteen nineties. MAGLAJ, and a stroll around this pretty Bosnian village. Lunch time. We will resume our trip to SARAJEVO, where we will arrive at mid-afternoon. Sightseeing tour with local guide of this highly Turk-influenced city – its musks, madrassas and hectic bazaars. We will also visit the Tunnel of Hope which saved the city during the Serbian siege during the war. Supper included.

Note: according to arrival time, the Tunnel of Hope can be visited on Friday before leaving for Mostar.

DAY 03 : Breakfast / – / –
SARAJEVO > MOSTAR > MEDJUGORGE > KRAVICA > DUBROVNIK
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: beautiful landscapes all the stage with mountains, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, picturesque villages. Dinner included.
Another exciting stage of scenic beauty. Amidst deep valleys, we travel to MOSTAR, with its very beautiful historic centre and Stonebridge separating the Orthodox, Muslim and Catholic communities. After lunch, we stop in MEDJUGORGE, a place that attracts thousands of Catholic pilgrims. We go on to KRAVICA, we stop at its magnificent waterfalls before continuing to CROATIA. Border procedures (which may be long). DUBROVNIK, arrival at the end of the day (accommodation on the coast near the city). Dinner included.

Note: From the end of October until the beginning of March, it is not possible to visit the Kravice waterfalls.

DUBROVNIK
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Za
In the morning we include a panoramic tour of DUBROVNIK with a local guide. We are undoubtedly in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, surrounded by walls, bathed by the Adriatic Sea; its intact historic centre is a jewel of world architectural heritage. The tour includes tickets to the Franciscan Monastery with the oldest pharmacy in Europe and Dubrovnik Cathedral. We also include a cable car ride to give us a fantastic view of the city and the neighbouring islands. Afternoon free. Return to our hotel at the end of the afternoon. Dinner included.

DUBROVNIK > SPLIT
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Visit of Split. Dinner included
We will depart in the morning travelling along the Croatian coastline which displays amazing seascapes with islands. Arrival in SPLIT at noon. We include a visit with a local guide and entry into the Diocletian’s Palace. We will tour this immense palace from the Roman period, its labyrinth of streets, and its sea vistas. Supper included.

DAY 06 : Breakfast / – / –
SPLIT > PLITVICE > OPATIJA
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Plitvice lakes National Park. Supper included.
We will travel to the interior region of Croatia, going through beautiful hilly landscapes to finally arrive in PLITVICE LAKES NATIONAL PARK, which was added to UNESCO World Heritage List. Entry into the park included (with access to the lakes’ boats or train) where you will admire its lakes and waterfalls. You will be able to trek along its trails and take the boats that sail through the waters of these lakes. After lunch, we will travel back to the coast toward the north of Croatia. OPATIJA, supper included and sojourn in this resort town which offers a charming night life.

Note: in exceptional circumstances, either for meteorological reasons or tourist density, it may not be possible or advisable to use the train nor boat in Plitvice.

DAY 07 : Breakfast / – / Dinner
OPATIJA > POSTJONA > BLED > LJUBLJANA
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Za
Entry into Slovenia. We will travel to POSTJONA, one of the world’s biggest caves which is partially toured by train. After this, we will visit BLED, a gorgeous postcard town on the shore of a lake in the middle of which there is an islet where the bell tower of a monastery stands out at the foot of a medieval castle. We include a boat trip around Bled’s lake and a visit of the monastery on the islet. We will resume our trip to Slovenia’s capital city, LJUBJIANA. Arrival and tour with a local guide of Slovenia’s small capital city, a beautiful Central European city. Dinner included.

Note: During winter, in order to be able to visit Ljubjiana during the daylight hours, this may take place before departure to Maribor.

ARRIVAL ROME
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Evening transfer to the Trastevere district.
Welcome to Rome! Upon airport arrival, we shall be waiting to transport you to your hotel. You will receive information for the start of your circuit in the afternoon or this will be on the informative signs in the hotel reception. At the end of the evening we arrange a transfer to Trastevere area. This neighborhood will be a great introduction to Rome, a stroll in the narrow cobbled streets of the Trastevere district reveals hidden treasures to us, such as some modest medieval churches, small shops with the most peculiar of objects or scenes of daily life. Many trattorias (informal Italian eating establishments) and osterias (inns) imbued with the Italian spirit will be ready to serve you local dishes. Other restaurants serving Indian, Chinese and international food can be found in this area. Return to hotel.

ROME
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum (admission price included) and Vatican City.
In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And we have also included admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive con­struction dates back 2,000 years and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening we provide transport to the Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and interna­tional food. Return to hotel.

ROME > FLORANCE
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Tour with a local expert from Florence. View from Piazzale Michelangelo.
We will leave Rome, heading north. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in FLORENCE, we head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, an impressive site in the city. In the evening we provide a tour with a local expert, and walk through the historic centre, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Free time to explore. In the evening, you can dine at your favorite restaurant. In this district you can find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese and international food.

FLORENCE > VENICE
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vaporetto boat on Venice’s Grand Canal. Visit and admission to the St Mark´s Basilica. Admire the technique of crafting Murano Glass.
Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. Arriving in VENICE, we will board a Vapporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic centre. With a local guide, we will visit the marvellous St Marck´s and enter the marvellous basilica (entry cost included). Afterwards, we shall be able to visit the Murano glass factory. It is marvellous to see the technique how this ancient glass is made. Free time. At the end of the afternoon, you will have the chance to eat dinner in the Mestre area, where you can choose the type of restaurant that you prefer (Indian, Oriental, Italian, etc.).

VENIICE > VERONA > SALZBURG
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. Breathtaking landscapes.
We will depart from Venice, travelling to VERONA. We will provide a shuttle from parking to the historic centre. Our guide will instruct us on the places where you will be able to walk in Romeo and Juliet’s city – the city of lovers! Afterwards we continue the journey between mountains to Austria. SALZBURG, our guide accompanies us to the most beautiful streets of the historic centre of this city declared a World Heritage site. Note: In case of few travellers on the trip, the journey from Verona to Salzburg may be done partially by a train.

SALZBURG > VIENNA
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Vienna city tour. Gardens of the immense Schönbrunn Palace.
We will leave Salzburg to reach Vienna at around 12.00 hrs, Directly, we head the Schönbrunn Palace where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens. After a time for lunch, we start a scenic visit around this impressive city with a local expert. Here, we experience its majestic avenues, its palaces and the vibrant city centre. In the evening we go to the City Hall Square to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighbouring streets, and where you will have time to dine in line with your preferences (including Austrian, Chinese, Indian and Italian).

VIENNA > BUDAPEST
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour with our local expert in Budapest.
We depart for Hungary. Arrival in BUDAPEST, at lunchtime. Discover the “Queen of the Danube” on a scenic tour of highlight. This city is divided by the Danube, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopoli­tan “Pest” on the opposite bank. There will be time at the end of the day in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of little restaurants with food from different countries (Indian, Chinese, Hungarian and Italian).

BUDAPEST
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Boat tour on the Danube River.
In the morning, we will include a boat tour along the Danube River; the views of the city and parliament are impressive. Leisure time after the tour. At the end of the afternoon, there will be time to enjoy dinner in the city and travellers can select their preferred restaurant.

Get to know LONDON on a locally guided tour featuring style, cul­ture and history. See the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of Lon­don and Buckingham Palace, where we shall be able to watch the famous “Changing of the Guard” (depending on the season). If you wish, later on, we recommend that you go to the “London Eye” ferris wheel.In the afternoon, at 5pm, after a period of free time, we invite all our travellers to a traditional Afternoon Tea. We will travel to Scotland. We will stop in ALNWICK, a picturesque town with lovely gardens and a big medieval castle where the Harry Potter film was shot. We will later continue to EDINBURGH, where we will arrive at noon. This is Scotland’s capital city and one of the most active cities in Northern Europe. Its monumental centre has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its castle overlooks the city, its steep streets and its parks. Sightseeing tour with a local guide included.

EDINBURGH > DISTILLERY > INVERNESS > LAGO NESS > GLASGOW
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Visit included to a whisky distillery. Loch Ness.
We will continue enjoying a stage with gorgeous landscapes in the Scottish Highlands. We will make a stop to know a traditional whisky distillery. We will pass by INVERNESS the north of Scotland, city located very near the mysterious Loch Ness. After lunch we include the tickets to enter URQUHART medieval castle from where we will make a boat trip on the dark waters of the lake. Afterwards, we will travel throught FORT AUGUST with its sluice gate system and FORT WILLIAM, a tourist centre at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest summit in the United Kingdom. We will return south through the high plateaus where it is not difficult to glimpse the snow before contouring Loch Lomond, one of the most popular lakes in Scotland. Arrival in GLASGOW at the end of the day.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Ferryboat to Ireland.We will depart from Glasgow toward southern Scotland
We will depart from Glasgow toward southern Scotland. We will board a ferryboat in Cairnryan. Journey toward Northern Ireland. Arrival in BELFAST, Northern Ireland’s capital city. This monumental city is overcoming its religious conflicts. We will resume our journey to EIRE (Ireland). Arrival in DUBLIN at the end of the day.

We will board a fast ferryboat early in the morning. After a journey of two or three hours, we will arrive in Wales. We will visit CAERNARFON, a World Heritage site by the sea overlooked by an impressive castle. Time for lunch and a stroll. We will travel next to LIVERPOOL, where you will have a chance to visit The Beatles Story exhibition.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Shakespeare’s hometown. Oxford 
We will travel in southern England. We will visit STRATFORD UPON AVON, Shakespeare’s hometown. Time for lunch and a stroll. Afterwards, we will travel to OXFORD, a town that is synonymous with study and culture. Kings, statesmen, philosophers and scientists have studied there. We will continue to LONDON. Late afternoon arrival. End of our services.
