After breakfast, find your way to board Captain Cook Cruises Zoo Express, is the easy way to visit Sydney’s renowned Taronga Zoo, with regular departures throughout the day. Your pass includes a cruise to Taronga Zoo from Darling Harbour or Circular Quay, entry to Taronga Zoo and Sky Safari cable car. Plus when your visit to the Zoo is complete enjoy a return cruise from Taronga Zoo to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay with regular departures throughout the day. Taronga Zoo offers many fabulous opportunities to get close to the animals and find out more about how they live. Whether you attend one of the amazing free shows, drop in on a keeper talk or treat yourself to a unique animal encounter, you are sure to have a memorable experience. Note: You may like to have your lunch at own expense at Watsons Bay (Dolyes Fish & Chip). Afternoon take the return Captain Cook Cruise back to Darling Harbour or Circular Quay and walk back to your hotel

DAY 03 : Breakfast / Lunch
SYDNEY > BLUE MOUNTAIN > AUSTRALIA WILDLIFE > SYDNEY

After breakfast, make your way to join SIC tour. Discover the spectacular Blue Mountains and see native wildlife whilst you explore World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. This rugged and beautiful region forms part of the Great Dividing Range, linking tropical north to temperate south, while dividing coastal cities from the vast Outback. Pass by Homebush Bay, site of the 2000 Olympics. Discover Leura village, a delightful blend of groomed gardens and quaint shops, enjoy free time to wander the streets of Leura. Next, we stop at Echo Point and see the famous Three Sisters rock formation and hear the ancient Aboriginal legends of this impressive rock formation. Arrive at Scenic World and join the optional Blue Mountain rides – Scenic Railway, Cableway or Skyway (own expense). These rides are a great way to see the steep valleys, canyons and Three Sisters rock formation. Enjoy a short stop at Narrow neck and Cahill Lookouts for impressive mountain scenery. Next we enjoy an afternoon encounter at Featherdale Park and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala, see kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and cute little fairy penguins. Our last stop will be at Homebush Bay, the venue of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Here, you have the opportunity to catch the river cat ferry back to Sydney and enjoy a relaxing cruise along the Parramatta River (own expense). If, you do not wish to join the ferry, the coach will arrive in Sydney at approximately 5.45pm. Hotel drop offs to most city hotels are available; your Coach Captain will ask you at the end of the day where you would like to be dropped off.

DAY 04 : Breakfast
SYDNEY > PORT STEPHENS > NELSON BAY DUNES > DOLPHINS – J86S

After breakfast, make your way to join SIC tour. Discover the beautiful North Coast region of Port Stephens, with its diverse blue water paradise, its pristine waterways, golden sandy beaches, and its eco diverse marina and National Parks. Nature is the center of all that is Port Stephens and is the perfect escape from cosmopolitan Sydney. Cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and tour through the leafy and affluent northern suburbs, travel over the Hawkesbury River, a holiday hub for boat lovers. Arrive at The Australian Reptile Park, loaded with unique exhibits and animals. Enter ‘Lost World of Reptiles’ and journey into ancient pasts, reminiscent of an Indiana Jones movie scene and Spider World with spiders that are HUGE, HAIRY & SCARY! See platypus, Tasmanian Devils, wombats, friendly kangaroos, cuddly koalas, giant crocodiles. We then head to Port Stephens you will have approximately 1 hour to purchase your lunch (own Expense) before you join the dolphin watch cruise. The cruise will depart from Nelson Bay Marina at 1.30pm. Search for the pods of bottlenose dolphins. Watch as they play on the bow waves or why not ride the boom net and get close to our friendly visitors. Upon docking at the Marina, we will make our way to meet with the 1hr 4WD tour on the sand dunes. Experience the grandeur and tranquility of the local desert wilderness, environmental and historical sights. You may also like to try sand-boarding, a thrill you will not forget. Upon disembarking the 4WD tour, you will board the coach for your return transfer back to Sydney.

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Your Window to the Wildernessbegins from Queensland’s Surfers Paradise. A short distance beyond the beaches another paradise awaits, Nature’s Paradise, the World Heritage Listed Rainforests of Lamington National Park. The trek into the Hinterland region follows the original pioneer’s track to the volcanic plateau of Tamborine Mountain. This area of secluded eucalyptus forests provides a private sanctuary for koala, wallabies and other varied wildlife. A break for morning tea and chance to check out Gallery Walk on the Mountain. Delicious fresh scones, served with jams, cream, tea and coffee. Time to stretch the legs when guides, who are renowned for their local knowledge and expertise, escort you on a leisurely bush walk. Discover lush subtropical rainforests with cascading waterfalls, learn about the forests unique characteristics, how the Aboriginal people gathered food from the forest floor and the animals and birds that call the area home. On a hot summer’s day, nearby cool waters and rock pools provide the opportunity for a refreshing swim so it is recommended that guests bring their swimsuits. 

Following lunch, the tour continues on into the mountainous regions of Lamington National Park (Australias largest preserved natural stand of subtropical rainforest). At O’Reilly’s Plateau, some 3,000 feet above see level, colourful native birds flock around and can be fed. The Treetop Boardwalk through the rainforest canopy offers a bird’s eye view of this enchanting area, especially for those who climb the observation tower. Leaving O’Reilly’s we take in the magnificent view of mountains and valleys with a 300 degree view from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and around to the great Dividing Range. On the return journey to the Gold Coast, sightings of kangaroos and the pretty faced wallabies is common as they emerge from their bush retreats to feed on the lush grass in the cooler part of the day. Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. This morning private transfer to Tropical Fruit World is located in the Tweed region, just south of the Gold Coast. You’ll see, taste and learn about tropical fruit from around the world that they grow right here. Journey beyond the farm gates to tour the orchards and discover nature’s delicious, healthy harvest. Discover their world where more than 500 of nature’s weird and wonderful fruit varieties are grown.

LAUNCESTON > CRADLE MOUNTAIN WORLD HERITAGE

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, we continue the journey into the mountains and arrive at Cradle Mountain and Dove Lake with around 5 hours of possible walking time before us. We begin with a series of short walks to Rainforest City and Pencil Pine Falls. From here we can choose from the gentle and iconic Dove Lake Circuit an easy 2 hour walk with amazing mountain views. For the more active, we offer the chance to climb to the loftier heights of Marion’s Lookout. This walk is well rewarded with amazing 360 degree views of the surrounding World Heritage wilderness area. Enjoy lunch by a quiet stream, watch the famous and friendly Cradle wombats in their natural habitat, or enjoy the many photographic opportunities that abound. Learn some of the local history as we visit Weindorfer’s Chalet and see the ancient King Billy Pines on Weindorfer’s Forest Walk. Cradle Mountain is the backdrop for a truly memorable and not to be missed Tasmanian experience. On our return to Launceston, we stop and sample some local tasty products at the award winning Ashgrove Cheese Factory.

LAUNCESTON > HOBART > WINEGLASS BAY & FREYCINET NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. After early breakfast, check out formalities, pick up from your Launceston hotel between 7.00-7.30am and depart Launceston ready for an action packed day out exploring the delights and highlights of the East Coast before finishing our day in Hobart. Our first stop today is in the pretty township of Ross. Ross has an old-world charm, convict history, and famous local bakery for you to explore on our morning stop. From Ross we travel to the East Coast and head into the Freycinet National Park. This coastal National Park is our main destination for the day. Here the pink granite mountains form the backdrop for turquoise waters, secluded bays and beaches and sparkling white sand. We offer opportunities for short or longer walks, a swim in the warmer months and great photos all year round! We make a short stop as we enter the park at Freycinet Marine Farm where you have an opportunity to buy some fresh oysters along the way.

DAY 04 : Breakfast / – / –
HOBART- PORT ARTHUR & TASMANIAN DEVILS

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. After an early breakfast, pick from hotel between 7.00-7.30am. We take an early start from Hobart and head to the stunning Tasman Peninsula, home to Australia’s highest sea cliffs. Enjoy the panoramic views of the area from Pirates Bay Lookout, and along the short but spectacular Waterfall Bay Clifftop Track. This is one of Tasmania’s “Great Short Walks”, around 45 minutes, concluding at the remarkable rock formations of Tasman Arch and Devil’s Kitchen. Next stop is the Tasmanian Devil Unzoo. We arrive here for the action of a Tasmanian Devil Feeding. Watch the snarling, fighting and bone crushing in a spectacle of devilish behaviour during the feeding. Hand feed the wallabies and walk amongst the local fauna and flora in the charming “Unzoo” setting. Just a short drive down the road, we enter the Port Arthur Historic Site. Here you have around 2.5 hours to explore the site. Your entry includes a complimentary Harbour Cruise around the Isle of the Dead and a guided walking tour with Port Arthur’s expert guides. Discover the grim and violent history of the early Australian Penal system and get a sense of the isolation experienced by the convicts in this “inescapable prison”.

HOBART > BRUNY ISLAND TRAVELLER

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Today join A Six Course Gourmet Food Tour of Bruny Island.Taste freshly shucked oyster, award-winning Cheeses, seasonal berries, handmade, fudge, local honey. Meet the local producers and hear the stories behind the harvest. Throughout the day you will see incredible scenery. Enjoy views from The Neck lookout, walking along white sand beaches and search for rare white wallabies on their private bush reserve. Arrive Hobart, City hotel drop off. Overnight in Hobart.
